Refund Policy:

If you find the need to cancel your reservations for a trip, please let us
know as soon as possible. If there is a waitlist, we will replace you from that
list; if not, you are responsible for finding your own replacement. Please
understand if final counts and payments have been made to the venue, and
a replacement cannot be found, there will be no refunds provided.

 

Coach Food & Beverage Policy

• Absolutely NO Alcohol consumption on the coach

• No Food consumption on the coach (exception is for those
diabetics needing a snack to treat symptoms of low blood sugar).

• Any “non-alcoholic” beverages must be in a plastic bottle with screw top lid.

Lake Region Village: 31850 Highway 27, located on Highway 27,
just south of Haines City. Please park as far out in the parking lot to your right as
you drive in and as close as you can towards Highway 27, but not on the grass.

 

Driver’s Gratuity Policy:

At the driver’s request, gratuity is no longer included in the cost
of the trip. $2 - $3 per person is customary, please pay them directly.

Tampa City Tour

Have you ever wanted to know more history and interesting facts about
the Tampa Bay area? If so, this is the trip for you! Back by popular demand,
we have invited Max to be our step-on guide. You may remember Max from
a couple years ago when he gave us a tour of Ybor City.

 

Max will guide our coach on a 90-minute tour of the area that will surely entertain and enlighten us at the same time. After learning more of the rich Tampa history, we will end the tour in Ybor City at the original Columbia Restaurant. Please choose from one of the following at time of sign-up

 

A) Arroz con Pollo (chicken baked with yellow rice, green peppers, Spanish onions, tomatoes, white wine and virgin olive oil and topped with green peas and pimentos)

B) Ropa Vieja (shredded beef sauteed with onions, green peppers and tomatoes, served with platanos and white rice.

C) ½ Cuban Sandwich and a cup of Spanish Bean Soup.

 

At the conclusion of our meal, you are in for a treat as the Maria Seville Spanish Dance Company will perform the traditional dance of Spain, “The Flamenco”. The day is not done, as we still have a stop at Parkesdale Farm Market in Plant City, where you can shop for local produce, and you may be inclined to enjoy their famous Strawberry Shortcake. If you don’t like cake, they also serve ice cream, ice cream with berries, and milkshakes. So much to enjoy!

Seminole Casino — Brighton

Our travels today take us toward the west coast to the town of Spring Hill
to visit another “Old Florida” roadside attraction, “Weeki Wachee Springs”, home of the famous Mermaid show!

 

Since 1947, this park has been a must-see for those enchanted by
mermaids. The day will be rather structured in the beginning to make
sure we see all 3 activities here at the park

#2 Mermaid show

#3 The Ranger Experience Show).

 

After show times, there will be time allowed for you to walk around and
view the park and even see the Peacocks as they roam around freely. If
you need a little something to tide you over, there is a snack shop which serves sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, ice cream and other snacks
as well as cold drinks.

 

At the conclusion of our day here we will travel to the city of Inverness
and eat at the Stumpknockers located on Main Street. Please choose

This day has us traveling to Orlando for a tour of the Titanic Museum, followed by their dinner experience! This is a treat for sure, allowing you
to immerse yourself in the dinner elegance the first-class passengers of the Titanic may have enjoyed.

 

Arriving by mid-afternoon, you will have an opportunity to make your way through this museum full of artifacts and stories, and follow a chronological journey through the life of the Titanic prior to the April 1912 very memorable but tragic Maritime accident that changed the lives of so many.

 

At the conclusion of this tour, we will rejoin our group and be shown to
our seats to enjoy a first-class feast for a night to remember! The First-Class
Dinner Gala will have you feasting and witnessing first-hand reenactments
of the night of April 14, 1912.

Off to the races we go! Horse races that is, and to be more exact, thoroughbred horse racing!

 

Tampa Bay Downs is one of the few racetracks left in the state of Florida. With a reputation for being one of the oldest and best maintained tracks.

Sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds as these beautiful animals run
their races, some will be run on the grass track and others on the regular
dirt track. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch in the clubhouse, as well
as a special reserved area for our group during the races.

 

The betting tables will be located near our seating area and there is also
a concession stand where you can purchase both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you enjoy eating popcorn as you watch the races,
the concession stand sells that too.

Our travels today take us literally to the middle of nowhere. Just kidding, we are heading to the very small community of Kenansville, Florida, which is home to the Wild Florida Adventure Park!

zebras, giraffes, antelope, American bison, mouflon sheep, and much

Whether this is your umpteenth airboat ride or your very first, there are always new and exciting things to see around every corner. Now it’s time
for a little nourishment before you do more exploring of the park on foot.

annual American Quilters Society “Quilt Week Show”! The hall will be full

you need for that special quilt. Maybe it’s a special color or notion you’re in search of, or a quilt pattern, there will be lots of opportunities to locate it at the Vendor Merchant Mall.

 

Quilts will be on display with many award-winning and semi-finalist quilts from previous contests, as well as special exhibits. So, enjoy yourself and be inspired!!!

“From My Hometown”
Winter Park Playhouse

Winter Park.

 

The Winter Park Playhouse is a staple of the town, and their current
matinee show will be “From My Hometown”. This off-Broadway musical
is a rags-to-riches tale of three young men just off the bus from their
hit-record producing hometowns of Philly, Memphis, and Detroit, as they meet at the famous Apollo Theatre.

The musical is a tantalizing homage to the 3-man R&B groups of the 60s
and 70s and features twenty-four Rhythm and Blues classic soul songs made popular by artists such as James Brown, Otis Redding, Jackie Wilson and more.

 

Before the show, we will be treated to a delicious family-style Italian
meal at Maggiano’s, located on International Dr. in Orlando. Our lunch

Deep-Sea Fishing — Tarpon Springs

Enjoy a fun day of deep-sea fishing aboard the 2 Georges, an 85-foot-long fishing boat, departing from the sponge dock area of Tarpon Springs at 8 am and returning to the docks at 4 pm.

 

The boat has been chartered specifically for our group for the day, and since it is a full day of fishing, we will be going out further in the Gulf of Mexico so if you have issues with motion sickness, please remember to pack and take your medication.  All you need to bring is the desire to have a good time fishing, a little cash for purchasing snacks and beverages at the concession area aboard the boat, or you can bring your own cooler with food and beverages (all purchases aboard the boat are cash).

 

No fishing license required. Rods, reels, and bait are provided for you, and someone will be available to clean your catch for a minimal cost (cash only).

 

The boat has an air-conditioned area that includes seating and concessions. Restrooms are also available on the boat.

Our day begins with time on your own to explore the Daytona Aquarium
& Rainforest. This intimate aquarium allows for a free-flowing self-guided tour, with lots of opportunities to view reptiles, fish and many animals you would find in the rainforest.

 

There is also a stingray petting pool and a shark feeding show.  At the conclusion of our time here we will travel a short distance to the Halifax
River and board the Lady Dolphin Paddle-wheeler for a 1 ½ hr. dinner, sightseeing cruise along the intracoastal waterway. Sit back enjoy some music as the captain provides information on the area, and buildings we
are seeing along with some background history.

 

Meal options are: Shrimp Scampi, Garlic Shrimp, Baked Ham, Prime Rib, Turkey & Stuffing, Spaghetti & Meatballs, (vegetarian and vegan options available) unlimited free soft drinks, and dessert. There is a bar aboard
